Enjoy the new exhibition ‘Wallace and Gromit....present a World of Cracking Ideas', an exciting interactive exhibition using the much loved Oscar® winning characters and their famous 62 West Wallaby Street home to showcase how innovation contributes to everyday life. Each room in the house is full of hands-on activities, fun and games: pop into the living room to experience Wallace and Gromit's very own creation -the Tellyscope II or belt out your favourite songs in the bathroom's karaoke shower. Maybe you're planning a birthday celebration, a hen do or just looking for a fun experience with friends or family? The Life Science Centre offers a whole range of adult workshops including our very popular ‘Science of Cocktails' workshop.Take a look at the science behind one of the nation's favourite pastimes...drinking. Find out why Scotch should be watered but never iced, learn how to develop your own cocktail, but perhaps more importantly, uncover the science of avoiding that ‘morning after' feeling. As with all sound experiments, there's plenty of testing required to make sure the end results are perfect and driving home is definitely not recommended! Participants must be aged 18 or over.
